[Case Study] Reduction of Production Costs by Reducing Cutting Man-Hours

The ability to allocate personnel to other processes for increased efficiency! Case study on the introduction of wiring duct processing services.

At Company T, which designs and manufactures control panels, there has been a high demand for short delivery times based on customer requests, and currently, a significant amount of time is required for duct cutting. Due to the production of other mass-produced panels, it has been difficult to finalize the duct specifications. Therefore, we requested that they send us prototype ducts (cut pieces) so that we could measure them and incorporate the specifications. The initial lot of mass-produced panels was made using standard-sized ducts, and starting from the second lot, they were able to utilize our wiring duct processing service, allowing for the seamless introduction of processing services. [Overview] ■ Issues - Personnel are assigned solely for duct cutting. - There is no time to measure and incorporate specifications. - There can be waste due to processing errors. ■ Requests - Eliminate the labor required for duct cutting. - Easily utilize processing services. - Require duct cut pieces at the timing when the control panel sheet metal is completed. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Achieving Reduction in Management and Work Hours

Standardization of processed product quality leads to improved appearance! Case study of wiring duct processing service introduction.

Company A has built a close and trusting relationship with major semiconductor manufacturers around the world through its advanced technology, and is engaged in the manufacturing and supply of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Recently, in response to the intensifying competition due to the overall maturation of the industry, we have been working on cost reduction measures such as labor hour reduction, and we have considered requesting our company to handle the cutting processing of the wiring ducts used in the equipment wiring. After implementation, the cutting work for 20 types of wiring ducts per unit will no longer be necessary, and by marking the part numbers on the wiring ducts and delivering them in set packaging, we have achieved a reduction in processing and management labor hours. [Overview] ■Challenges - There are many types of wiring ducts, making cutting time-consuming. - The variety of wiring ducts after processing makes management cumbersome. - It is difficult to cut wiring ducts at right angles. - There are costs associated with disposing of wiring duct offcuts (industrial waste disposal). ■Requests - We want to reduce the processing labor hours for wiring ducts. - We want to reduce the management labor hours for materials. - We want to standardize the quality of parts through processing by duct manufacturers. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
